Mixed Media Collage - Essendon Church, Herts 2002 - Original SOLD.
As the title implies, this work was inspired by the Church in Essendon Village, Herts. The piece was worked in the studio from sketches and photographs made on-site.
In this Mixed Media Collage a combination of dyed and printed fabric, acrylic paint and various texture media with gold highlights was used.

This still life painting was created during a painting session with Harpenden Arts Club. Unlike many traditional watercolourists, I like to use very strong paint to achieve intense vibrant colour in my work.

I had great fun creating this one. No - unfortunately not so much fun as to fly over Ayott St Lawrence myself! I worked from Aerial photgraphs in the studio.

Stormy Beach (2003) - Original SOLD
I have used a variety of media including watercolour, acrylic, pastels, texture media and collage to create this scene. To create the 'lacey' surf I have used machine embroidery on water soluble fabric.

This was painted on location using watercolour and wax resist. I had great fun creating the watery them of this beautiful old water mill.
